President Pahor concludes a two-day visit to Brussels by meeting with President of the European Council Michel

President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor today concluded a two-day visit to Brussels by meeting with President of the European Council Charles Michel.

President Pahor and President Michel discussed, in particular, the enlargement of the European Union to the Western Balkans, the Eastern Partnership, and transatlantic relations in view of the EU–US Summit next week.

President Pahor congratulated President Michel on successfully leading the European Council and wished him every success in the difficult period of recovery after the epidemic. He assured President Michel that Slovenia would make every effort to ensure that its presidency of the Council of the EU is successful.

President Michel thanked President Pahor for his sincere pro-European stance.
