The President of the Republic Borut Pahor Receives the Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs

Today, the President of the Republic Borut Pahor received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Kristian Vigenin, who is currently on an official visit in the Republic of Slovenia. The two discussed strengthening bilateral and economic cooperation between the two countries, agreeing that there is still a lot of untapped potential in this area.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vigenin, expressed Bulgaria's views on the situation in Ukraine, and the leaders were of the common opinion that the unity of the European Union was of crucial importance, while maintaining a dialogue with the Russian Federation. They undertook to engage in further strategic consideration about the European Union's long-term relationships with its eastern partners.
